Dr. Bednarek earned his Bachelor’s degree from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He interned at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, with concentrations in pediatrics, glaucoma and ocular emergencies. His optometric training also included rotations through The Vision Center in Pittsburgh, PA and the Nalle Clinic in Charlotte, NC. He has practiced optometry in Central Pennsylvania since 2003.

Dr. Bednarek performs comprehensive eye exams on patients of all ages. He has a strong interest in detecting, preventing and treating conditions such as dry eye and glaucoma. He also has tremendous experience in the contact lens field, fitting many challenging patients with the latest in astigmatic, bifocal and dry eye contact lens technology.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
